Saudi official says, Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh will not return to his country….

 He said that the president will not return to Yemen and it had not been decided where he would stay.

 On the other hand, Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh s government vowed the wounded leader would return to his country within days.

Saleh was injured in an attack on his compound and he flew to Saudi Arabia for medical treatment as Yemen’s Vice President Abduraboo Mansur Hadi took over Saleh’s duties, a Yemeni government spokesman said.

Yemen’s embattled President Ali Abdullah Saleh was wounded on Friday in an attack on his palace.

 According to a security official, his premier and other officials were also injured as shells struck a mosque in the presidential palace compound.
Four of his guards were also killed and the speaker of the parliament left in a critical condition after the attack. 

PROTESTS AGAINST CIVIL WAR IN YEMEN .....

Thousands of anti-government protesters fill the streets of Sanaa to demonstrate against civil war.

 Thousands of protesters, seeking to overthrow the Yemeni government, marched on Wednesday in the capital Sanaa, to condemn what they call an attempt to drag the country to civil war. 

The protesters chanted slogans decrying civil war and demanded an end to the deadly gun battles between Yemeni government security forces and opposition gunmen.
