Yemeni President Abdullah Saleh injured in an attack....

Yemen’s embattled President Ali Abdullah Saleh was wounded on Friday in an attack on his palace.
According to a security official, his premier and other officials were also injured as shells struck a mosque in the presidential palace compound.
Four of his guards were also killed and the speaker of the parliament left in a critical condition after the attack.

The PM was also injured in the attacks after forces loyal to the president battled with tribal fighters in Yemen s capital in clashes that killed dozens and injured hundreds more.
Witnesses said security forces had fired live bullets at people protesting against Saleh s rule. Street fighting in Sanaa has killed at least 135 people in the past 10 days, officials said.
