Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh went to Saudi Arabia for treatment after being wounded.
Saleh was injured in an attack on his compound and he flew to Saudi Arabia for medical treatment as Yemen’s Vice President Abduraboo Mansur Hadi took over Saleh’s duties, a Yemeni government spokesman said.

Yemeni President Abdullah Saleh injured in an attack....
Yemen’s embattled President Ali Abdullah Saleh was wounded on Friday in an attack on his palace. According to a security official, his premier and other officials were also injured as shells struck a mosque in the presidential palace compound.
Four of his guards were also killed and the speaker of the parliament left in a critical condition after the attack.
