PROTESTS AGAINST CIVIL WAR IN YEMEN .....


Thousands of anti-government protesters fill the streets of Sanaa to demonstrate against civil war.
 Thousands of protesters, seeking to overthrow the Yemeni government, marched on Wednesday in the capital Sanaa, to condemn what they call an attempt to drag the country to civil war. 
The protesters chanted slogans decrying civil war and demanded an end to the deadly gun battles between Yemeni government security forces and opposition gunmen. 

Afghan district captured by Taliban....


The defense ministry said that Afghan commandos had reclaimed the district.
Hundreds of Taliban fighters attacked and briefly seized parts of a district in Afghanistan s remote and mountainous northeast on Wednesday, provincial officials said, with gunfights raging for hours between insurgents and Afghan troops.
Jamuladdin Badr, the governor of Nuristan province near the border with Pakistan, told Reuters the Duab district center had "fallen into the hands of insurgents," but most of it was recaptured within hours by Afghan troops.

Barack Obama and David Cameron said: Gaddafi will 'lose power' ......

Barack Obama and David Cameron have said Col Gaddafi will ultimately be forced out of power and Libya's people allowed to "choose their own future".
At a joint press conference in London, the UK prime minister vowed to "turn up the heat" on the regime in Tripoli amid suggestions of deadlock on the ground.
But the US President urged people to be "patient", saying the allied campaign in Libya would be "slow and steady". Both men celebrated the US-UK relationship as "stronger than ever".
