PROTESTS AGAINST CIVIL WAR IN YEMEN .....

Thousands of anti-government protesters fill the streets of Sanaa to demonstrate against civil war.
Thousands of protesters, seeking to overthrow the Yemeni government, marched on Wednesday in the capital Sanaa, to condemn what they call an attempt to drag the country to civil war.
The protesters chanted slogans decrying civil war and demanded an end to the deadly gun battles between Yemeni government security forces and opposition gunmen.
Yemenis fled the capital on Wednesday to escape the shooting incidents between loyalists and opponents of President Ali Abdullah Saleh, who said he would make no more concessions to those seeking his ouster.
Sporadic machinegun fire rang out for the third day in the sandbagged streets around the mansion of an influential tribal leader who has backed protesters seeking to overthrow the long-time ruler after repeated international mediation failed.
