Sony has finally relaunched the PlayStation network in UK after 25 days....


Sony has finally relaunched the PlayStation network in UK after 25 days.
PlayStation network was down since 20 April after the attack from hackers.
Hackers stole the information of almost 77 million users from PSN. Sony Online Entertainment system was also hacked after two days of that. Personal information of almost 25 million users was stolen from that. Sony warned its users that their credit card information can be stolen.
From then, Sony took PlayStation network down to improve its security. They hired cyber security detectives for more secure systems.
Now, some of PSN services has been restored in UK and US. Users are asked to change their passwords after logging into the network. They will receive a confirmation e-mail after changing the password. Some users are complaining of receiving confirmation e-mails late. This is actually due to that a large number of reset requests. Millions of e-mails are traveling around the internet.
Some of PSN services including gaming, music and chatting are restored but it is not completely restored yet. Users still cannot buy online games through their credit cards.
Sony promised its users for more trust-able and secure system now.
It is being expected that the company will give a good welcome back package to its users to make them come back in the PSN.
