Inquiry begins against judge who releases Davis........

A Lahore high court team started inquiry against the judge Yousaf Ijla, who was handled and heard the case of Raymond Davis. A petition filed in the Lahore High court by Barrister Iqbal Jaffery. In petition Barrister stated that Additional Session Judge yousaf Ujla did not implemented the blood money law in a transparent manner. And he also ignored the many other aspects of the murder case. . He submitted that Ojala deserved to be sacked. A member of the inspection team called the complete record of the case immediate.

            Raymond Davis killed two Pakistanis on January 27 in Lahore. After that a special court heard this case in Kot Lakhpat Jail due to security reasons. On March 16, court charged in the murder case but after the court decision some documents showed by the Davis lawyer in the court that the family of victims received money under the blood money law. After that Davis freed by the courts. Many political and Islamic parties move on strikes against this decision. Now Davis is not in Pakistan and committee give their report in few days in the LHC. Many people thinks that this act is waste of time.   

Court frees Raymond Davis

Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah claimed that court has freed US citizen Raymond Davis. The Administration of kot Lakhpat Jail has also stopped the trial of Davis after the court ruling.

            Law minister claimed that families of Faizan and Faheem who were killed by the Davis on January 27 in Lahore, had accepted the blood money and signed the papers of releasing of Davis. He also said that know Davis was free to go anywhere. And the families of victims shifted to Saudi Arabia on their on request.  

            Meanwhile, Faheem’s lawyer claimed that the signatures were forcefully taken from the victim’s families.  The political and Islamic parties do not accept all condition that written above and most probably they came on roads against the provisional, Central governments and Americans. 

Raymond Davis charged in double murder case by special court.....

American Citizen Raymond Davis charged the in double murder case. Davis killed two citizens of Pakistan in Lahore January 27.

            The hearing of the case held in special court in Kot Lakhpat jail on Wednesday. The prosecution lawyer, Asad Manzoor told the court that all the documents related to the case submitted to the honorable court on the last hearing. He requested to the court to indict Davis in double murder case.  But Davis lawyer objected the indication of his client and pleaded to the court to give more time. But court does not accept the Davis’s lawyer request and charged him in double murder case.

            On the other hand US foreign office giving statements from pervious some weeks that Davis has the diplomat immunity according to the agreement. And US congress also passed a resolution some days ago which states that “Pakistani aid stopped onwards until they gave diplomat immunity to Davis”. 

Lahore high court says trail court will settle the Davis immunity.....

Today the foreign office of Pakistan lawyer submitted a report in the court. According to this report the real name of Raymond Davis was Alan Davis and a business official visa was issued by the foreign office to him on the application of US Embassy. It is also written in the report that he came to Pakistan on a diplomatic passport.

                It was also stated in the report that the court will decided the either is qualifying for immunity or not.

The court said that the matter of immunity could not be decided, unless the body sought immunity.

Raymond Davis was arrested on the killing of two peoples. The case of the killing is in Pakistani courts. The US foreign office said many times that he has the diplomatic immunity. But Pakistani government said that this case is in courts and courts will decided either he has the immunity or not. Many Pakistani political parties on strike from the day first after the killing, their agenda is that they want death penalty for Davis because he killed two innocent citizen of Pakistan. At the end the decision is taken by courts. 

Qureshi siad::It is unfair to compare me with Laghari

Former Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said it is unfair to compare him with Farooq Leghari (Former President of Pakistan). He also said that Rymond’s issue was mishandled and it is very difficult for person to disclose this issue who mishanled it.

                In the National Assembly Session, Qureshi explained on a point of objection that mistakes should removed.” He said that when Farooq Laghari was president and he dissolved the Benazir Bhutto’s cabinet, he offered me to take a ministry but I refused and stood along with my leader.”

                He said that he had relationship of respect with Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gillani and President Asif Ali Zardari. 

Judge orders the Davis Jail trial

LHR: Additional Session Judge Lahore odered a jail trial for Raymond Davis. Davis was arrested in the case of two people murder. District Public Prosecuter Lahore Submitted an application in the court, which atated that it is impossible for the Davis to appear in the court due to the security reasons. And if govt. gave th security to Davis for appearing in he court, then the other people faced great difficulty.

            Court accpeted the request of District Public Prosecuter and ordered a jail trial of Raymond Davis. Next hearing of this case will be held in Kot Lakhpat jail Lahore on 25 February.

On the other hand US govt. demanded the immunity for Davis every day and said that he is our ambuscader . But intial inverstigation shows that he is not a ambuscader . now the case in the court and all eyes on the court decision.

US trying to get immunity for Davis

White House is currently focused getting Raymond Davis from Pakistan, notwithstanding the setback it received at the hands of Pakistani courts. US focused on ensuring the diplometic status of Davis to pakistan and wants diplomatic immunity.
