Israel cannot return to the 1967 lines.....

Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu also spoke about changes in the Middle East and North Africa.

 Addressing a joint meeting of Congress, Israel Prime Minister Netanyahu said that Israel will not return to the indefensible boundaries of 1967.
He said "I am willing to make painful compromises to achieve this historical peace. As the leader of Israel, it is my responsibility."

 He called on Palestinians to see their future "homeland," rather than Israel, as the place to resolve the issue of Palestinian refugees. Netanyahu thanked the United States for its long lasting friendship with Israel.

Hosni Mubarak and his family to be tried over deaths.....

Egypt's ousted President Hosni Mubarak and his two sons are to be tried over the deaths of anti-government protesters, judicial officials say.

Mr Mubarak, who was ousted in February, is being detained at a hospital in the Red Sea resort of Sharm el-Sheikh.

He and his wife also face allegations of illegally acquiring wealth while they were in power for 30 years. The couple's two sons, Alaa and Gamal, are being held in Cairo's Tora prison and also face fraud charges.

People face volcanic ash cloud flight cancellations .....

Thousands of passengers have had their flights cancelled because of drifting ash from an Icelandic volcano.

About 500 flights were cancelled in Europe on Tuesday, air traffic management body Eurocontrol said.

Airports affected include Londonderry, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Prestwick, Durham Tees Valley, Newcastle and Carlisle, air traffic services company Nats said.

Pawlenty announces US presidential run.......

Former Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty formally has thrown his hat into the presidential ring.

Pawlenty first announced his plan to seek the 2012 Republican presidential nomination on his website on Sunday.
Speaking before a crowd of supporters, Pawlenty spoke of his blue collar roots.
"At a young age I learned the value of leaning into my faith in God in challenging times and in all times. I saw the value of a loving family that rallied around each other in times of crisis. I learned the value of hard work and the responsibility for doing my part."
