ZA Bhutto reference case challenge in the Supreme Court of Pakistan. Advocate Tariq Asad filed a petition in the court against Justice Naseem Hassan Shah and also challenging reference to reopen Bhutto murder case. In this petition, he stated that under the article 186 of the constitution, Bhutto murder case should not accepted for hearing by the SCP. He stated that a review petition against this case had already filled before therefore there is no justification to reopen this case according to the constitution. He stated that Naseem Hussan was also the part of the bench who heard this case. President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari has filed a reference in the Supreme Court under the article 186. The reference maintained that Bhutto case was not heard justly by the courts and a judge of that bench admitted afterward that Zia govt. had forced the bench to announce the death sentence of Bhutto in the murder case. The SCP will start hearing of the reference from April 13.
