The first quarter final of ICC world cup 2011 is played today between Pakistan and West Indies in feroz shah stadium Dhaka. West Indies won the toss and decided to bat first. Pakistani bowlers ball welled today and west indies all team out at the score of 112 in 43.3 over’s. captain shahid afridi take 4 wickets in this match and maintain the highest wicket taker position in this world cup with 21 W. Pakistan opening batsman’s played very well and Pakistan chase this tiny target in 20.5 over’s. Muhammad hafiz and Kamran akmal create 61 on 88 balls, 47 on 88 balls respectively. Pakistan won this match with 10 wickets. Man of the match was given to the Muhammad hafiz on the biases of excellent batting and 3 wickets. Pakistan qualifies for the semi final after the 1999 world cup first time. Pakistan will play their semi final with the wining team of second quarter final (Aus vs India).
