India the largest weapon importer


A research revealed that India is at number one position in the weapons importing.  According to this research India accounted for 9 percent of all weapon imports 2006 to 2010. On the other hand the majority of Indian people live under the line of poverty. But Indian government spent millions of dollars every year on weapons and wants to become super power greater than in number from China. India also beat the China in weapons important numbers.
India s arms import delivery volumes jumped 21 percent from the prior five-year-period, with aircraft accounting for 71 percent of its imports.  Indian bought 82% of weapons from Russia. India has a US$ 32.5 billion defense budget and imports 70% of its arms.
China was in second place after the India in the list of weapons importer. One of the main reasons of china drops from the first to second number is that, Chinese focusing on their domestic weapons industry.
Pakistan stood at the number third in the list of weapons importing countries. One of the main reasons of India and Pakistan at the top numbers in the list is Kashmir issue. And both countries spent millions of dollars on the weapons and could not support the poor person of their country who lives under the dark line of poverty.
                According to the report United States was the largest arms exporter, followed by the Russia and Germany.
