The flood is said to be the worst in 20 years in China’s Zhejiang province.
A cycle of rains, which started on June 2 in Zhejiang province of China has been continued, overflowing the Qianting River and flooding the adjoining areas.
According to the flood control officials, 9,200 villages have been inundated and 2,400 houses have been collapsed, 391 roads were damaged while 120,000 people have been shifted to safer areas.
According to a government spokesman, the river gates at a headwork had been opened to save others from the flood.
The flood is said to be the worst in 20 years, however, no casualty has been reported so far.
