Second nuclear plant closed in US.….


A nuclear power plant in the US state of Nebraska has been issued a flood alert.
A flood warning was issued for the Cooper nuclear power plant in Nebraska state as the nearby Missouri River continued to rise.
Authorities said the plant would be taken off-line as a precaution, if the river levels reached 13.9 metres.

They ve already risen to 13.6 metres in some areas.The Fort Chalhoun Nuclear Station has already been closed due to rising Missouri River flood waters.
Heavy rainfall in the upper Missouri basin region has combined with melting snow from the Rocky Mountains has triggered the Missouri surge.
