People Protest against government policies in Athens….

People gathered outside the Parliament House in Athens to protest against the government polices.

Protests against the government policies continued despite announcement that the Greek Prime Minister George Papandreou would face a confidence vote in his government.

Prime Minister Papandreou said that he has decided to take the vote of confidence after the protests and if successful, he would continue to press ahead with economic reforms.

After the announcement of the economic reforms, people protesting for a 28th consecutive day at the Syntagma square, have called for another nationwide strike.
