Japanese Temporary shelters disaster-hit…..

Japanese authorities made 28,280 temporary shelters in seven disaster-hit prefectures.
Seven prefectures including Iwate, Miyagi, Fukushima, Ibaraki and Chiba have set up 28,280 temporary shelters for the disaster victims since the Japanese earthquake and tsunami. Some 40 percent of these shelters have now been occupied.

The one to three-bedroom temporary shelters are assigned according to the needs of different families. Japanese Red Cross provides each family in the temporary shelter with six appliances including TV, refrigerator, washing machine, micro-wave oven, electric rice cooker, and electric kettle, while the local government provides the inhabitants with daily necessities.
