Hackers attack on IMF website….

The IMF, as a precautionary measure, cut off the funds link with the website.

 Confirming the attack the world financial institution has said it was being investigated. The IMF got the news of the attack through an email which warned that during the attack some files were transferred.

The probe also revealed hacker had the access to IMF desktop, to enter the system.

Security officials say the aim of the attack was to maintain digital presence through installing software. This attack continued for months
